Jonathan Beech Memorial Concert

 

 

If you would like to sing Paul Winter’s exuberant Missa Gaia with a large, combined chorus, you will be most welcome.  You must have your own vocal score (Hal Leonard Publication #08744396), or we can order it for you; cost is $10.00 (as of 9/9/09).

 

We close each annual concert with the Rutter For the Beauty of the Earth and the Handel Hallelujah Chorus, two pieces sung at Jonathan’s funeral, at his request.

 

Rehearsals:  Wednesday evenings at 7:30, beginning January 6, 2010, at Lower Brandywine Presbyterian Church, 101 Old Kennett Road, Wilmington, Delaware 19807 (across from Winterthur Museum on Route 52).  Rehearsals in January and February will not exceed one hour.

 

Dress Rehearsal:   March 20, 12:00 P.M., at Kennett High School Auditorium, in Kennett Square, PA.
